FBC Mission Statement and Leadership
Our Mission Statement: The purpose of Fellowship Baptist Church is to fulfill the Great Commission as given in Matthew 28:19-20. We are called to evangelize the lost and equip believers for ministry in local churches at home and abroad as the Lord leads. Through the teaching and application of Scripture, we will not only build up individuals to live as disciples, but also meet the needs of those in our church family, our community, and mission fields near and far.
Pastor Lenny Stringer is the man called by God to lead us here at FBC. In 1969, he was saved at the age of 9, and has never lost the excitement from his newfound life in Christ. He is a 1982 graduate of Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO, where he met his wife and greatest help in the ministry, Lorri. They were married in September of 1983 and Pastor was ordained to the ministry in 1985 by his home church, Reimer Road Baptist, Wadsworth, OH.
After serving as youth pastor at several churches, Pastor Stringer started FBC in the living room of his home with a total attendance of 18 people that first Sunday. He has since seen FBC through several transitions and is eager to see the blessings of the Lord as we continue to “press toward the mark.”
Our current Deacon Board is: Jason Smith, Scott Douglas, and Van Bise.
